Please stop with the Beatle Break at 8. I understand their contribution to Rock n Roll, but you can overdo anything, and you’re overdoing it.

You made an error in the news report about the kid with the AR-15. The AR-15 is not an automatic rifle. It’s a semi-automatic. One pull of the trigger results in one bullet. The military version, the M-4 carbine, is a select fire, having 3 burst, semi, and full auto capabilities.

Is WIND FM supporting a particular candidate? If not we would really appreciate it if Charlie McGraw would not spew his political opinions on the air. This is not the first time This has been complained about. WIND FM is like an oasis in the media world, awesome programming, that is until a turd washes up on shore. We are bombarded on a daily, no hourly basis with political messages lately, and I do understand that there are those paid ads, you have to take business where and when you can get it, but when it starts invading the voluntary conversations of the on air personalities, it becomes a bit offensive. Otherwise I love your station. Thank you for listening to my rant.

Thanks for your comment Bob. We’ll keep the politics to a minimum and keep CLASSIC ROCK to a maximum.

Love the DJs on wind FM… but what happened to the Acoustic Storm…one of my favorite radio shows

    • hunter

You can still hear the Acoustic Storm on WIND-FM Sunday nights at 8.

At anytime turn on Wind FM and its heart, bad company, the 4 same pink floyd songs. Switch it up for the sake of the poor folks who were my age when the stuff came out, and I’m only 21. I enjoy classic rock but I feel like you guys have gotten lazy. Did you put the playlists together 20 years ago and figured no one would notice? I change the channel and go to other radio stations because I can only hear the same 3 Heart songs so many times yknow?

I would just like to make a comment my wife and I moved down here 2 years ago and when I first started listening to you you were like a breath of fresh air a lot of groups and songs that I hadn’t heard in years. Classic rock where we came from was predominated by 80s hair bands which just kind of isn’t my thing. But after two years you are becoming insanely repetitious but that doesn’t mean you don’t do a lot of things very well. There are so many groups that you just met and I’m kind of a guitar rock kind of guy but I’m going to give you groups that I both liked and ones that I am not the biggest fans but they should be played Just for variety. What about Traffic Steve Winwood Fogarty without credence the byrds Metallica Molly Hatchet The Outlaws Neil Young. There are some groups that you do great just the stew and play a variety of songs from that catalog like styks Skynyrd a little bit too much free bird. But there are so many other groups that have an extensive catalog and you just keep playing the same songs over and over again Zeppelin ACDC Hendrix Queen the stones the doors The Beatles. These groups have a lot of songs that were very popular but I never hear them. For example Warren Zevon what about Lawyers Guns and Money Moody Blues excetera. I’ve tried to be honest and not just give you groups that I want to hear because I could sit here and Jam out to guitar rock all day long . You guys could be the best station that I’ve ever listened to if you’d just expand your catalog boats artists and songs.

Thank you Tom. Especially for the specifics you gave us. We’ll take them into consideration.

By the way the last couple of days you have gotten better maybe not by adding more orders but you have expanded the setlist somewhat.

I would love life like to say – I love your radio station. There’s always a but to this – I love Canadian Bands – which you play a lot.(enjoy it). The one band Triumph – who I loved now for 35 years- you only play Lay it on the line. They have plenty of other songs worthy to play like -Magic power, fight the good fight, somebody’s out there , spellbound, follow your heart and Never Surrender. Please try to play other songs – Thank you E.J Jahnes

Hey you guys at Wind FM, I want to tell you about the signal strength out here in the High Springs, Fl. area. I’ve tried to call several times no avail, but here goes. The music is great but need MORE OF THE BEST DECADE 60’s & 70’s music PLEASE !!! Classic Rock is the 60’s / 70’s & part of the 80’s Best Ever Era !! Anyway when you have a commercial break your sound drops almost 1/2. And sometimes when it’s foggy or cloudy like early am or late pm the signal fades in & out, so the problem seems to be in transmission and the weather problems, maybe a tower upgrade or equipment update ??? I can’t figure it out but is a problem I’ve changed to other stations but end up with the BEST so try to correct the problems… Thanks SCW Keep up the good work…

      Steve,
Thank you for your comment. We will let our engineer know about the signal problem. You are correct, the weather has a lot to do with it.
The 60’s, 70’s and 80’s were the best decades for rock n roll! We will play more!
