Christmas at The Hipp


No holiday season is complete without the magic of the Hippodrome’s annual production of Charles Dickens’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL and brand new this year, it’s the heartwarming holiday musical WINTER WONDERETTES. WINTER WONDERETTES created by Roger Bean, directed by Ric Rose; on stage November 28-December 21 , 2014 with 7 shows a week - Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 7pm; Thursdays & Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 8:30; Sundays at 2 & 7pm. The holidays are meant for music, singing, and dancing and this year the Hippodrome has a brand-new musical for a toe-tapping, heartwarming holiday celebration! The Marvelous Wonderettes are back on stage, singing holiday favorites including “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland,” making this production, of course, marvelous! An energetic and glittering holiday package is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages. “A scrumptious confection! Now in its 37th consecutive year at the Hippodrome, A CHRISTMAS CAROL stars Rusty Salling in his 24th year as Ebenezer Scrooge, along with a cast of children from the Gainesville community. SSVF helps veteran families to quickly gain stability in permanent housing.
