October 31

Rainbow Springs State Park presents the 4th Annual Trail of Terror on Friday, October 31st. The Trail of Terror Tram Ride will begin in the park by the Felburn Pavilion - the first tram will depart at 7:00 p.m. and the last tram departs at 9:30 p.m. There will be scary sights and loud noises so parents should take that into consideration when taking young children on the tram.  Visitors should wear comfortable, close-toed shoes due to uneven terrain and low lighting. Flashlights will not be permitted on the tram, but costumes and glow sticks are encouraged.   Regular park admission fees apply, $2.00 cash per person and children under 5 are free. Funds raised from the event go to Rainbow Springs State Park Volunteer Program.
Snacks and sodas will be available for purchase at the concession.    For additional information, contact the park at 352-465-8555 or visit
