Christmas at The Hipp

No holiday season is complete without the magic of the Hippodrome’s annual production of Charles Dickens’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL and brand new this year, it’s the heartwarming holiday musical WINTER WONDERETTES. WINTER WONDERETTES created by Roger Bean, directed by Ric Rose; on stage November 28-December 21 , 2014 with 7 shows a week - Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 7pm; Thursdays & Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 8:30; Sundays at 2 & 7pm. The holidays are meant for music, singing, and dancing and this year the Hippodrome has a brand-new musical for a toe-tapping, heartwarming holiday celebration! Do you know a veteran family that is homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless? Meridian can help with Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF). SSVF helps veteran families to quickly gain stability in permanent housing. Services include case management, coordinating VA benefits, referral to community services, and temporary financial assistance for eligible expenses. Together we can help to support our veterans. Warm Clothing Drive
The Gainesville Woman’s Club and partner Belk at the Oaks Mall are collecting as much warm clothing for children as possible and then making the clothing available to area Alachua County Schools for distribution to those in need. The Gainesville Woman’s Club will have a collection box at the north entrance (facing Newberry Road) of Belk in the Oaks Mall. You may bring new or gently used coats and sweaters to Belk between November 19th and December 23rd during store hours.
