We are thrilled to announce the 3rd Wing Bowl hosted by Team Dynamo and friends to raise money and awareness for the Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit dedicated to serving victims of child abuse. The Wing Bowl will showcase 12 contestants eating chicken wings for a worthy cause. This fun and entertaining event is the perfect opportunity to get some of your closet friends and family together for a fun night with discounted bowling. Tickets cost $20 per adult and $5 per child under the age of 10. We are thrilled to announce the 3rd Gainesville Duck Derby hosted by the Child Advocacy Center and Children’s Home Society of Florida on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 1p.m – 4p.m. The event will feature a rubber duck race with as many as 5,000 rubber ducks, food from local restaurants, a Family Fun Run, games and activities for the whole family. Prizes for winning the Duck Race include $1,000 cash for 1st Place, 4 tickets to Universal Studios for 2nd Place and a Family Fun Pack for 3rd Place. You do not have to be present to win these great prizes.
For more information and to purchase ducks or fun run entries, please visit www.gainesvilleduckderby.org. The Fun Run will be $5 for all ages, but children receive a t-shirt for this price. Adults can pre-order or purchase shirts the day-of for $10 each. Rubber ducks for the race can be purchased in the following packages, a Single Duck for $5, a Six Quack (6) for $25, a Twelve Quack (12) for $50 and a Flock (25) for $100.100 percent of the proceeds will benefit children served by both the Child Advocacy Center and the Children’s Home Society of Florida.
